For the first time, the indigenous people of Bambama are participating in the development of activities for the program to improve the access of indigenous people to social protection.
Vanessa Kouya, the first indigenous high school student from the Bambama district and Aubin Maboukou has been participating for 3 days in workshops with the World Food Program, the Ministry of Justice and Indigenous Peoples, and the Joint SDG Fund.
Our vision has always been to train indigenous people to become the true vectors of development in their communities. This first participation of indigenous people in this great activity that will define the action plan of the Congolese government and many organizations allows us to be optimistic and believe that things will be different from now on.
Congratulations to Vanessa and Aubin for representing the indigenous community of Bambama.
