Our long term goal for indigenous children is to break the circle of poverty, to break the culture of passivity, cynicism and apathy among the indigenous youth by giving them the tools, the knowledge and the confidence to believe that they are agents, actors, and not victims of the circumstances. Above all, finding hope and direction in Christ.

Frederick Douglass once said:  “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men”. To eliminate the culture of apathy and passivity in indigenous communities we think it is important to start from the bottom up. To start with the young and build new habits, new paradigms, new perceptions, and new culture.
