On Friday we signed a partnership agreement with the imaging and medical analysis center “AGORAcare” SARLU on the medical care of indigenous students and members of the office Espace Opoko Brazzaville.
The agreement states that “AGORAcare” is committed to providing free medical consultations and biological analyses for indigenous students in Brazzaville and the OPOKO office in Brazzaville for a period of two years, renewable. It also undertakes to provide therapeutic care (drug treatment) to 10% of the indigenous students in Brazzaville and the person in charge of the OPOKO office in Brazzaville.
A list of beneficiaries eligible for the said agreement was submitted by the NGO Espace OPOKO to the management of the center “AGORAcare”, after the signing of this agreement.
This agreement also allows both parties to work together on other health projects targeting indigenous populations such as deworming and malaria control campaigns.
This protocol came into effect on Friday, August 27, 2021. With their Espace Opoko badges, indigenous students and Espace Opoko team members can already enjoy its benefits.
Our thanks to AGORAcare and all its staff.
