Ngoubili Évic is a child from the indigenous community of Lefoutou in the Komono district.
He is epileptic and has seizures every time he comes in contact with rainwater and bright sunshine.
Unfortunately for him, the nearest school is 5 km from his village. It is therefore impossible, without protection, not to come into contact with these elements of nature. For this reason, his parents decided not to send him to school.
On September 23rd, 2020, while we were on an awareness campaign about the importance of school education in his village, Evic approached us with his mother. With fear in his eyes, he told us shyly: “I also want to go to school because I’ve never been to school”.
When we asked why he never went to school, his mother explained his situation.
As a solution, we decided to buy him a raincoat and an umbrella.
This material was finally purchased thanks to Kristina Medina’s donation and Evic made his first entrance to school in October 2020.
Unfortunately, there are many children in Evic’s situation in indigenous communities.
In most cases, the problem can be solved with only $50. But the families are so poor that they just prefer to keep their little angels at home.
You can, with a donation of 50$, change the life of many children in Evic’s situation.
